Privacy notice

Draft for review. This notice describes how this demonstration site works today. It was written to follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173), but a lawyer or data privacy expert has not reviewed it yet. The LGU and its data protection officer must confirm it before the site is used for real reports.

Last updated 6 October 2026. In short: we ask for the least we need, we pass your details only to the LGU office that handles your report, and we show your name in public only if you tick the box.

Who runs this site

This is Demo LGU, a demonstration of a problem-reporting site built by Razza Consulting Group for a local government unit (LGU). The LGU decides what happens to the reports and details sent through it.

Photos and descriptions are public

Anything you write in a report, and any photo you add, can be seen by anyone. Please do not include faces, number plates, house numbers or other details that identify a person. Do not put your phone number or email address in the description.

How long we keep your details

We keep your details for as long as the LGU needs them to deal with your report. Reports and their public updates stay on the site as a public record. You can ask us to remove your name, email address and mobile number. At present this is done by hand, so please allow a few days. The LGU will set a fixed retention period with its data protection officer before the site goes live.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, object to how it is used, or have it deleted or blocked. Use the contact form and tell us which right you want to use. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
